YIELD: about 30 cookies PREP TIME: 10 minnutes COOK TIME: 10 minutes



1/2 cup unsalted butterat room temperature

1 cup packed light brown sugar

1 large egg

3/4 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium)

1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1 cup pops flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 tsp salt

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon


Preheat oven to 350°F.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl and blend in the egg until completely incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl again and add the mashed bananas and vanilla.

Gently add the bread mixture to the banana mixture and blend until just blended.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl and then stir to recombine.

Stir in the oats and chocolate chips and mix until incorporated.

Use a moderate cookie scoop (approximately 1.5 tbsp ) to scoop the dough onto prepared cookie sheets leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.

Bake investigate this site in preheated oven for about 9-11 minutes.

Remove cookies from the oven and then gently press the shirts of each cookie with the base of a drinking glass. Since these cookies don't spread much, this can help give them a conventional cookie form.
